The relationship between Michael Guerin & Maria DeLuca is a romance on The CW sci-fi series Roswell, New Mexico. They are portrayed by Michael Vlamis and Heather Hemmens.
About[]
Michael and Maria have a somewhat complicated relationship due to Michael being previously involved with Maria's best friend, Alex Manes. Michael and Maria originally started off as a one night stand, but the two finally realized that their feeling is much deeper than that.
They weren't always the best of friends due to Michael constantly starting up fights at Maria's bar, the Wild Pony, causing Maria to continually kick him out.
Plot[]
Maria first showed a small interest in Michael, when she talked about his appearance to Alex, saying that "he got kind of hot in a sex in a truck, smells like a river, never introduce him to your mama kind of way."
At the Wild Pony, Maria is having a drink alone after sending her mother, Mimi, to a care facility, when Michael comes in. Maria says that their closed, but he can stay if he stays silent. Maria starts to cry causing Michael to comfort her.
Michael and Max travels to Texas to visit a faith healer, so they can learn some more information about the alien symbol that Michael has been researching. Coincidently, Maria and Liz visits the same faith healer, so they can find a cure for Maria's mother. Unfortunately, the faith healer turns out to be a fraud causing Maria to run off to find a bar, where the group goes and get drinks.
Maria runs outside to get some air, where Michael starts to follow her. Eventually the two gets lost, causing Maria to panic, causing Michael to kiss her and the two sleeps together.
The next day, Maria learns about Michael and Alex's relationship and tells Michael, as he gives back her necklace, that she would've never had slept with him if she would've known about their history and tells him that it can't happen again.
At the UFO Emporium Re-opening Gala, Maria is mind controlled by Noah. While in the restroom, Maria takes the decoy serum from Liz's purse, causing her to pass out. Michael decides to stay with Maria until she wakes up.
In Recovering the Satellites, Michael visits the Wild Pony and kisses Maria.
Two weeks later, Maria reveals that Michael had been ghosting her. At the Wild Pony, Michael flirts with another girl and gets into a bar fight in front of Maria. Maria confronts him about wanting to hurt her.
Mimi is missing again and Maria is trying to find her. Michael runs into Maria, while she is putting up flyers around town and she asks if he can show them to his costumers at Sanders' Auto.
Later that night, Michael parks his airstream at the parking lot of the Wild Pony to keep an eye out for Mimi, so Maria doesn't have to. Michael confronts his feelings to Maria, in which she agrees to give him another chance, and the two kiss.

- According to Michael Vlamis his character has wanted to tell Maria the truth about himself ever since that bonfire scene in Season 1 when he told Isobel "How maybe it's time we tell the truth to the people we love" when she was deciding whether or not to tell Noah.[1]
- Also in the same interview he said Good Mother has an cut scene where Michael left Maria an voicemail heavily indicating he was going tell her the truth about himself and the others before she accidentally found Rosa who spilled the beans to her anyway. [2]
- Many fans refer to this relationship as "Miluca."
