Hi there! We'd love to assist with your redesign! As explained here, it's important that the admin staff jointly agree on the design request. Before we start, it'd be great to make sure that your co-admin who edited this week, Virvar, is cool with the request. Why not start a Discussions or Message Wall post to show that you and Virvar are on the same page? Then, you can link me to it, and we'll be in business! Thanks!
Heya! So I've made a couple of designs for you based upon the 2018 logo. In one I added the word "wiki" as requested, but I think it reads oddly, implying that the wiki is somehow "New Mexican". I actually think you might do better with just a simple version of the logo, omitting the word "wiki". A number of wikis around FANDOM take this approach, as it makes the wordmark less crowded. I've also chosen not to include the vertical deco lines. Since wordmarks have only 65px of height to work with, they'd be challenging to include in the way the official poster has them.
Thank you CzechOut for the awesome wordmarks. You did an amazing job considering the rather difficult background of the show's poster - the magic of Photoshop and the wiz on the keyboard keys! I don't mind the exclusion of the vertical deco lines since I don't think they played an important element in the logo.
I also thought "New Mexico Wiki" was slightly weird, but it is part of the show's title, and I do think our community header text "Roswell, New Mexico Wiki" clarifies any small confusion (truthfully it would have been worse if the logo/wordmark was "Roswell, New Mexican Wiki"). Otherwise, the logo isn't complicated enough where attaching "wiki" overcrowded it thankfully.
