Colin Hanks is an American actor who portrays Alex Whitman on The WB sci-fi series Roswell.
Overview
Hanks is the eldest son of American actor Tom Hanks and Susan Dillingham. His surname was changed to Hanks after his parents married in 1978.
Hanks was cast as Alex Whitman in 1999, which was his first major role. Hanks left the show, and his character Alex was killed off, so that Hanks could star in the film Orange County (2002).[1]
